Activities include, but are not limited to:

Thinning the Woods

Building Structures with Pine Logs

Getting Firewood

Gardening

Tending Goats, Horses & Chickens

Making Cheese

As registered WWOOF hosts, Carey & Albert have a work routine of 6 hours a day for 4 days with 3 days free for people to go exploring locally.  There are numerous lakes, such as Dry Falls Lake below, where canoeing or swimming are a luscious way to enjoy the 360 days of annual sunshine.

Generally, a minimum stay is one week, unless otherwise negotiated. We provide a cabin to stay in or camping in exchange and a large mid-day meal on the work days.

Please feel invited to correspond with us at to inquire about your personal Farm Stay.  March through October are generally the most eventful. . . unless you enjoy cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and winter hikes, then the winter months would interest you, as we have a couple feet of snow each winter for 2-3 months.
